Adding an invoice you already have

Where: iPhone and iPad app and Website

Moving from paper or another app? Take a photo of an old invoice and Invoicer fills in the details. You check everything before it is saved.

On the iPhone app

  1. Go to Account, then Add an invoice you already have.
  2. Use Take a photo, Choose a photo I already have or Choose a PDF or file.
  3. Wait a moment while it is read.
  4. Check every detail and correct anything that is wrong, then save it.
  5. Prefer to type it? Use Fill it in myself.

On the website

  1. Use Invoices, then Add an invoice I already have.
  2. Choose the file and use Read this invoice.
  3. Check the details and use Looks right - save it.

Good to know

  • The picture is read by Google AI. It includes whatever is printed on it, such as your customer's name and address. The privacy policy explains this.
  • It can also carry on your old invoice numbers, so your new ones follow on.
