Making and sending a quote

Where: iPhone and iPad app and Website

A quote tells your customer what a job will cost before you start. You can ask for a deposit, and offer extras they can choose.

On the iPhone app

  1. Go to the Quotes tab and use the + button.
  2. Choose the client and add each line.
  3. For an extra the customer can take or leave, switch on Let them choose this one.
  4. To ask for money up front, fill in Deposit.
  5. Use Save quote.
  6. Use Email this quote, then Yes, email it now.

On the website

  1. Use Quotes, then + Create Quote.
  2. Add each line with + Add Another Item.
  3. Use Save Quote.
  4. On the quote, use Send to Client.

Good to know

  • To change a quote on the iPhone, use Edit quote at the top of the screen.
  • Optional extras are left out of the total until the customer says they want them.
