The assistant

Where: iPhone and iPad app and Website

The assistant answers questions like "who owes me money?" and can do jobs like "send Mrs Patel her invoice". It always asks you before it changes anything.

On the iPhone app

  1. Go to Account, then Ask the assistant. The same button is at the top of Home, Quotes, Invoices and Clients.
  2. The first time, read Before you start and use OK, I understand.
  3. Type your question or job.
  4. If it offers to do something, check the card and confirm it, or say no.

On the website

  1. Use Chat at the top, or the chat button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Type your question or job and check anything it offers to do.

Good to know

  • The assistant uses Google Gemini. It is sent your message and the business details it needs to answer. The privacy policy lists exactly what.
  • Do not want it? Switch off AI chat assistant in Account on the iPhone, or in Account on the website.
